Web App Development Agency for European Businesses

A working day that overlaps most of continental Europe's, from a team that has already built and runs its own multi-tenant SaaS product, Webcomp People, in production.

What you actually get

GDPR-aware data handling as the default, not a retrofit

Consent flows, data-subject rights and where user data actually lives get decided as part of the initial data model — a different exercise for a product holding ongoing customer data than for a marketing site with a contact form. We scope this at the start of discovery, alongside the wider architecture decisions, rather than patching it in once legal review flags a gap.

Infrastructure sized before a launch, not after one

We plan cloud-native databases and horizontal scaling ahead of a launch rather than scrambling to fix them during one, and those scaling decisions draw on real usage patterns we've observed running Webcomp People, our own SaaS product — not a checklist written by someone who's never watched a product actually take on live traffic. The target is a product that holds up if the launch goes better than expected, not one that needs emergency surgery the week it does.

Ownership that transfers at launch, EU hosting on request

When the product ships, ownership ships with it: source code, infrastructure credentials and admin access all transfer to you directly. For businesses that need EU-based hosting to satisfy data residency rules — common across European customer bases — we build that in from the start instead of relocating a live product afterward.

A working day that overlaps most of a continental European one

Continental Europe runs on Central European Time for most countries, roughly 4.5 hours behind Pune (3.5 with European daylight saving), so our 10:00–19:00 IST studio hours cover a real stretch of your working morning through early afternoon. Eastern Europe runs about an hour later, which shifts the overlap slightly later in your day but doesn't meaningfully shrink it.

How this actually works

How the Pune–Europe working day lines up for a product build

Most of continental Europe runs on Central European Time, roughly 4.5 hours behind Pune for most of the year (3.5 with daylight saving on the European side), which maps our 10:00–19:00 IST studio hours to about 5:30am–2:30pm CET — a real stretch of a European working morning through early afternoon, not a single call at either end of the day. The UK has its own timezone and its own page on this site; Eastern Europe runs about an hour later than Central European countries, which nudges the overlap slightly but doesn't shrink it much.

That window gets used for sprint planning, design reviews and resolving anything ambiguous in a requirement. Day-to-day work — pull requests, staging updates, bug triage — doesn't need to wait for it, and keeps moving the rest of the time. We build and maintain Webcomp People, our own SaaS product, under this exact rhythm internally, so none of this is a process invented just for client projects.

We invoice in EUR or USD by international transfer or card, with a fixed-scope quote and written IP-transfer contract agreed before a sprint starts. We're a Pune-based studio without a European office or registered entity, and we'd rather state that clearly than let a virtual address imply a local presence that isn't there. If your product needs to serve users in a specific EU country's data residency rules, tell us during scoping and we'll build for that from the start.

Built for European product teams

  • EUR or USD invoicing
  • GDPR-aware data handling
  • CET-hours overlap

Guide

Europe Web App & SaaS Development Cost Guide

01

What a Web App Costs Across Continental Europe

"Europe" spans many currencies, so any single figure is an approximation — but public software-development pricing guides across continental Europe generally cluster around a lean MVP at roughly €18,000 to €45,000, a mid-complexity multi-tenant product with billing and integrations at €45,000 to €130,000, and an enterprise-grade build with heavier compliance or scale needs at €130,000 to €320,000 or more.

GDPR compliance work applies fairly uniformly across every European market regardless of country, and it's worth budgeting for specifically rather than assumed as bundled in: proper consent flows, data-subject access handling and documented data storage take real scoping and QA time on a product holding ongoing customer data. Beyond that baseline, the usual factors apply — how much of the roadmap is genuinely new engineering, and how complex the billing and multi-tenant logic actually needs to be.

These are general European market figures aggregated from public software-development pricing guides, not a Webcomp quote — pricing varies too much by country and scope for a single number to mean much on its own. Every build is scoped individually, priced by milestone or sprint, with a written IP-transfer contract agreed before work starts.

  • Lean MVP: €18,000–€45,000 — single core workflow, minimal integrations.
  • Mid-complexity product: €45,000–€130,000 — multi-tenant architecture, billing, GDPR-aware data handling.
  • Enterprise-grade build: €130,000–€320,000+ — compliance requirements, heavier scale, multiple integrated systems.

FAQ

Questions before you get started.

No — the UK runs on its own timezone and has its own dedicated page on this site with UK-specific overlap and invoicing details. This page covers continental Europe, mainly Central European Time countries.

A real stretch of it — roughly your working morning through early afternoon, since our 10:00–19:00 IST studio hours map to about 5:30am–2:30pm CET. Eastern European countries run about an hour later, which shifts the window slightly but doesn't shrink it much.

We can host on EU infrastructure on request and build consent and data-handling flows with GDPR in mind as standard practice for any product holding customer data — though we'd still recommend your own legal review for anything industry-specific to your market.

No named European client case study exists yet. What we do have is Webcomp People, a multi-tenant SaaS product we designed, built and still operate ourselves — worth stating plainly as our own product rather than letting it read like a client's.

By milestone or sprint against a scoped roadmap, not a single upfront figure — a product's real cost tends to shift once actual usage informs the backlog, unlike a fixed-page website. You'll still get an agreed budget range and a written IP-transfer contract before a sprint starts.
